General Notary

General notary work involves the notarization of documents unrelated to real estate transactions. This encompasses a wide range of documents, such as powers of attorney, trust documents, healthcare-related paperwork, auto title transfers, and various others.

Real Estate & Loan Signing

A real estate and loan signing notary is a notary public with specialized knowledge and training in handling documents related to real estate transactions and loan signings.

They facilitate the signing of loan documents between the borrower and the lender. This includes mortgage agreements, promissory notes, and other important documents related to the loan. Their responsibility includes ensuring all required signatures are obtained and that the documents are properly notarized.

Mobile Notary

Unlike traditional notaries who operate from a fixed location a mobile notary provides notary services on the go by traveling to the location of the client, whether it's a residence, office, hospital, Coffee shop or another agreed-upon location.

Mobile notaries typically offer more flexible hours. This can be especially convenient for individuals who may have difficulty traveling, fitting a visit to a notary office into their schedule or clients who need documents notarized outside of regular business hours.

Apostille

An Apostille is a form of authentication or certification used for international documents. In the context of California, an Apostille is a certificate issued by the California Secretary of State that verifies the authenticity of the signature and seal of a public official on a document.

The purpose of an Apostille is to simplify the process of accepting documents across borders by providing a standardized form of authentication that is recognized by countries that are parties to the Hague Apostille Convention.

The Apostille is generally used for public documents, including birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce decrees, court documents, notarized documents, and certain educational records.

Hospitals & Nursing Homes

Notaries who travel to nursing homes and hospitals provide mobile notary services to individuals who may be unable to travel to a traditional notary office. These mobile notaries are willing to visit locations such as nursing homes, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, or private residences to assist individuals with the notarization of documents. This service is particularly valuable for individuals who are elderly, disabled, or facing health challenges.

The notary ensures that the individuals signing the document are doing so willingly and are aware of the content of the document.
